The Black and White Dorm Showdown!

At the end of the year, the Black and White dorms individual representatives lead the dorm members in a heated competition to see which dorm will come out on top. (Official Site)

The Black and White Dorm Showdown! was an event where players could vote for their favorite dorm across 5 voting arenas through offline voting activities and in-game voting opportunities. While the White Dorm held the lead early on, Black Dorm fans steadily worked to close the gap. However, around halfway through the event, COLOPL implied that the losing dorm would receive cards of the dorm members wearing dresses. As a result, a large number of Black Dorm fans switched over and voted for White Dorm to ensure the Black Dorm's loss in all five arenas.

Voting Results

Round 1:White Dorm 55%; Black Dorm 45%

Animate in-store voting. Ran from November 16th, 2018 to December 9th, 2018. Players could vote at Animate stores within Japan; one vote per visit.

Round 2: White Dorm 52%; Black Dorm 48%

Karaoke in-store voting. Ran from November 16th, 2018 to December 9th, 2018. White Dorm and Black Dorm songs were released via JOYSOUND MAX, MAX2, and F1 karaoke locations nationwide. You could sing a song any number of times per visit. Each play of a song constituted as one vote. Songs featured: TAKE A DREAM!! (White Dorm ver.), HAPPY ENTERTAINER (short ver.); TAKE A DREAM!! (Black Dorm ver.), BLACK OUT (short ver.).

Round 3: White Dorm 66%; Black Dorm 34%

In-game voting. Ran from November 22nd, 2018 - November 26th, 2018. Players could grind for Cheer Vote Coupons and use them to vote for their dorm of choice.

Round 4: White Dorm 61%; Black Dorm 39%

In-game voting. Ran from December 6th, 2018 to December 10th, 2018. Players could grind for Cheer Vote Coupons and use them to vote for their dorm of choice.

Round 5: White Dorm MAJORITY VOTE; Black Dorm MINORITY VOTE

COLOPL Festival in-person voting. Occurred on December 16th, 2018. Voice actors had a live showdown at the DREAM!ing event during the COLOPL convention. Audience members could cast their votes to determine the winner of this arena.

In-Game Rewards

White Dorm won the contest, and their victory is covered in the event story Specialist ~A Great Talent's Dignity~. All White Dorm members received an SSR or SR card through a combination of event rewards and gacha cards.

Black Dorm lost the contest, and their loss is covered in the event story The Disappearance of Black Days. Every member of the Black Dorm received an R card in the Shinonome Ladies card series.
